A lock is the simplest promise a liquidity provider can make: this position stays in the pool until a date everyone can see. The locker accepts a Uniswap v3 LP position, records its owner and unlock time, and releases it to that owner only after the time has passed. The lock and its date are public, so anyone can check the promise is real.
